Frame

Produced for a program of exhibitions curated by Mitchell Cumming titled NEAR / AJAR installed within his studio at the Sydney College of the Arts.

This neon work reflects the site of its display by employing the exact dimensions of the window frame to create the form of the work. Situated within Cumming’s studio, the work and the program is an adaptation of space and how we choose to use it. When the light is on the exhibition is open and when the light is off the exhibition is closed. The work is part of a program including the following artists:

Elizabeth Pulie, Matthew Hopkins, Del Lumanta, Brian Fuata, Agatha Gothe-Snape, Alex Gawronski, Jesse, Hogan, Robert Pulie, Anna John, Luke Parker, Maike Hemmers, Ash Kilmartin, Zoe M. Robertson, Francesca Zak, Graham McDougal, Shane Haseman
